‘’The Story’’

 

My name is Joyce and I founded KENDU sportswear brand in Dublin, Ireland. I’ve always dreamt about starting my own clothing line – but I also knew that there would have to be a twist. There needed to be something more to it. It needed to mean something

What we wear is part of our experiences in life – clothes are with us through the adventures, the challenges, the love, and the heartbreak. They keep us warm in the winter, boost our confidence, some items even become good luck charms. It can also be loaded – we get flustered about fitting into the ‘perfect’ size, what shapes are flattering, what other people will think of us in this or that item. But I believe it doesn’t have to be this way. I believe it has the capacity to be world-altering – that our clothes can and should be keys to confidence.  

That’s exactly why KENDU exists. It is here to give you the wardrobe that you deserve – one that EMPOWERS you, that reminds you of your UNIQUE BEAUTY, that gives you the push to be BRAVE. Each piece serves as a boost to live your best life, every day.

 

Purpose:

Kendu is here to inspire you. I want you to have the COURAGE to speak up for yourself, to have CONFIDENCE in your abilities. I want you to connect to your AUTHENTIC self and to know that person is AMAZING. Whoever you are – whatever walk of life you come from, whatever the shape of your body, and however you wish to express yourself in this world – KENDU is here for YOU. There’s no elitism or exclusivity here – KENDU exists to empower and encourage EVERYONE.

I hope that when wearing KENDU sportswear that you will be reminded of your own strength. Go after your dreams. Find a way through the pain. Kiss the boy. Kiss the girl. Refuse to be silenced. Be bold, always.
